     Henry Portsmouth was the son of John Portsmouth.² He married Gladys Irene Byng, daughter of Hon. Sydney Byng and Annie Sebright Chellingworth, on 23 July 1910.¹ He died on 27 May 1933.²

     Hon. Nelson Byng was born on 3 April 1845.¹ He was the son of Hon. Robert Barlow Palmer Byng and Elizabeth Maria Lowther Gwatkin.¹ He married, firstly, Louisa Ann Owen, daughter of T. E. Owen, on 28 June 1870.² He married, secondly, Sarah Florinda Ball, daughter of Reverend John Gage Ball, on 28 September 1897.² He died on 2 February 1931 at age 85.¹
     In 1884 he was granted the rank of a viscount's younger son.²

     Louisa Ann Owen was the daughter of T. E. Owen.² She married, firstly, Reverend T. R. Brownrigg.² She married, secondly, Hon. Nelson Byng, son of Hon. Robert Barlow Palmer Byng and Elizabeth Maria Lowther Gwatkin, on 28 June 1870.² She died on 1 April 1897.¹
     Her married name became Brownrigg.² From 28 June 1870, her married name became Byng.¹

     Sarah Florinda Ball was the daughter of Reverend John Gage Ball.² She married Hon. Nelson Byng, son of Hon. Robert Barlow Palmer Byng and Elizabeth Maria Lowther Gwatkin, on 28 September 1897.² She died on 28 November 1946.²
     From 28 September 1897, her married name became Byng.¹

     Hon. Francis Russell Byng was born on 2 July 1853.¹ He was the son of Hon. Robert Barlow Palmer Byng and Elizabeth Maria Lowther Gwatkin.¹ He married Emily Mary Lambe, daughter of James Lambe, on 10 June 1880.² He died on 24 August 1903 at age 50.¹
     In 1884 he was granted the rank of a viscount's younger son.²

     Emily Mary Lambe is the daughter of James Lambe.² She married Hon. Francis Russell Byng, son of Hon. Robert Barlow Palmer Byng and Elizabeth Maria Lowther Gwatkin, on 10 June 1880.³ She died on 16 June 1938.³
     From 10 June 1880, her married name became Byng.¹

     George Cyril Byng was born in 1881.¹ He was the son of Hon. Francis Russell Byng and Emily Mary Lambe.¹ He died on 14 December 1904, unmarried.¹

     Mabel Frances Byng was born in 1884.¹ She was the daughter of Hon. Francis Russell Byng and Emily Mary Lambe.¹ She married, firstly, Alfred Brankston Pembroke, son of Edward Pembroke, on 9 February 1904.² She and Alfred Brankston Pembroke were divorced on 9 June 1913.³ She married, secondly, Francis Joseph Binning, son of Colonel Joseph Binning, in 1919.¹ She died on 5 January 1969.³
     From 9 February 1904, her married name became Pembroke.¹ From 1919, her married name became Binning.¹

     Alfred Brankston Pembroke was born in 1878.² He was the son of Edward Pembroke.³ He married Mabel Frances Byng, daughter of Hon. Francis Russell Byng and Emily Mary Lambe, on 9 February 1904.⁴ He and Mabel Frances Byng were divorced on 9 June 1913.² He died in 1916.¹

     Francis Joseph Binning is the son of Colonel Joseph Binning.² He married Mabel Frances Byng, daughter of Hon. Francis Russell Byng and Emily Mary Lambe, in 1919.¹
