Caleb Carden1

     Caleb Carden was born in 1738.1 He was the son of William Carden and Gertrude Warburton.2 He married Mary Anne Baillie, daughter of Ald Baillie.1 He died in 1810.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 58th Regiment.1 He was and , Mary, dau of Colonel James Magrath, 58th Regt, of Kilbarron, in 1798.1 He lived at Lismore, County Laois, IrelandG.1

     Dsp.1 Her married name became Carden. She lived Dublin.1

James Maximilian Carden1

     James Maximilian Carden was born on 24 August 1800.1 He was the son of Caleb Carden and Mary Anne Baillie.2 He married, secondly, Louisa Selina Vandeleur, daughter of John Scott Vandeleur, in 1850.1 He died on 13 August 1869 at age 68, (or 1889?).1

     Reverend Arthur Vandeleur Carden was born in 1851.1 He was the son of James Maximilian Carden and Louisa Selina Vandeleur.2,1 He married Hanna Enderes.1 He died on 28 February 1939.1
     He was Chaplain at Christ Church Clarens, Montreux, Switzerland.1
