     Thomas Dundas, 2nd Earl of Zetland was born on 5 February 1795.¹ He was the son of Lawrence Dundas, 1st Earl of Zetland and Harriot Hale.¹ He married Sophia Jane Williamson, daughter of Sir Hedworth Williamson, 6th Bt. and Maria Hamilton, on 6 September 1823.¹ He died on 6 May 1873 at age 78.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1815 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for Richmond between 1818 and 1830.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for York between 1830 and 1832.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for York between 1833 and 1834.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for Richmond between 1835 and 1839.¹ He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of the North Riding, Yorkshire between 1839 and 1873.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Dundas of Aske, co. York [G.B., 1794] on 19 February 1839.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Earl of Zetland [U.K., 1838] on 19 February 1839.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Dundas, of Kerse, co. Stirling [G.B., 1762] on 19 February 1839.¹ He was appointed Knight, Order of the Thistle (K.T.) between 1861 and 1872.¹ He was appointed Knight, Order of the Garter (K.G.) in 1872.¹

     William Robertson lived at Ladykirk, berwickshire, Scotland.¹

     Margaret Robertson was the daughter of William Robertson.² She married Sir Thomas Haggerston, 6th Bt., son of Thomas Haggerston and Winifred Charlton, on 24 January 1815.¹ She died on 26 October 1823.¹
     From 24 January 1815, her married name became Haggerston.

     Heather Hoffman is the daughter of Robert Hoffman.¹ She married Robin Lawrence Dundas, 5th Marquess of Zetland, son of Lawrence Mark Dundas, 4th Marquess of Zetland and Susan Rose Chamberlin, on 12 April 1997.¹
     From 12 April 1997, her married name became Dundas.¹ After her marriage, Heather Hoffman was styled as Marchioness of Zetland on 24 January 2026.

     Lady Eliza Constance Dundas was born on 31 March 1998.¹ She is the daughter of Robin Lawrence Dundas, 5th Marquess of Zetland and Heather Hoffman.¹

     Margaret Frances Haggerston was the daughter of Sir Thomas Haggerston, 6th Bt. and Margaret Robertson.² She married Lewis Joseph Eyre, son of Charles Eyre, on 2 July 1850.¹ She died on 25 August 1892.¹
     From 2 July 1850, her married name became Eyre.

     Lewis Joseph Eyre is the son of Charles Eyre.² He married Margaret Frances Haggerston, daughter of Sir Thomas Haggerston, 6th Bt. and Margaret Robertson, on 2 July 1850.¹
     Youngest.¹ He lived Derby.¹

     Marguerite Sarah Mary Eyre was the daughter of Lewis Joseph Eyre and Margaret Frances Haggerston.² She married Sir John de Marie Haggerston, 9th Bt., son of Sir John Haggerston, 8th Bt. and Sarah Anne Knight, on 11 January 1887.¹ She died on 18 February 1925.³
     From 11 January 1887, her married name became Haggerston.¹
