     Arthur Abraham David Sassoon was born on 25 May 1840.2 He was the son of David Sassoon and Farhah Hyeem.1 He married Eugenie Louise Perugia, daughter of Achille Perugia, on 19 January 1873.1 He died on 13 March 1912 at age 71, without isue.2
     He was appointed Commander, Royal Victorian Order (C.V.O.)2
